Rules are Made to be Broken
A thermal Tee suits me just fine as the weather starts to get cooler. I’ve worn them since I was a child and remember my father wearing them as he went out to fly early on cold mornings. He would wear them under his flight suit.
This thermal top is a little different though. It’s a little more stylish because of these gold zippers on the sleeves. This top has the classic crew neck with a twist, and the stitching around the edge of the sleeve and neckline is in a mustard color. Classic thermal wear or as we liked to call it, long underwear, or long johns never looked nearly so hip and fashionable.
There was a time when it was consider a fashion faux pas to wear thermal underwear as outer wear because it was underwear. I remember growing up that if my slip showed, or your bra strap showed, you didn't dare wear the outfit. The same went for wearing white after Labor Day. It was a big No-no. I have never been one to go with the flow, and I wear what I want to. I always have and always will!
