Quick and Easy
Quick and easy was how I put this outfit together! It's my "go to look" when I'm in a hurry and when there is no time to think.
A fun graphic tee made of soft cotton is classic. I could kick myself for not holding on to some I had when I was much younger. Especially the ones purchased at concerts. I don't even know if they sell t-shirts at concerts anymore. Yes, its been that long since I've been. This one had these bright colorful stripes, and I'm all for color - the brighter the better. This tee will pair nicely with any bright colored bottom or look clean and crisp with a white pair of denim. What's the slogan..."have it your way"?
And I did when I put this tee with my new favorite denim.
I try to buy one really fun pair of denim each season, and these are my choice this season. This great pair of bootcut denim is what I'm grabbing when I'm on the fly. La Vie Rebecca Taylor is a sister line of her original label "Rebecca Taylor." This line is inspired by the designer's travels throughout France. I really am looking forward to wearing a bootie with this denim. They also look dreamy with a simple sneaker. I hope you don't get tired of seeing these jeans, because I'm quite taken by them.
I grabbed this linen blazer, because it's still really warm here. Linen is so great for comfort and breathability. I like that it has a 3/4 sleeve that is gathered a little bit. I decided to roll the sleeve up for more of a casual look.
Mules are easy this time of year too, especially when you are accustomed to an easy slide on sandal. It's a natural progression to go from sandals to a mule for me. No fastening or buckling - just slide on, and off you go.
A circular bag rounds out the look and adds just a little more color and texture to this outfit.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that there was nothing quick and easy about trying to get that rooster in the picture - even with the persuasion of a bit of food.
