Framed by Denim
A great pair of denim can take you anywhere, and in my case they do!
I know you’ve heard me say it before, but denim is my JAM!
This year when sleeves are all the talk and making a big impact, I think denim has it going on with all the different cuts and hem lines or lack there of. Denim has gone to a whole other level! And for someone like me who already has an obsession with this stuff, it’s like adding extra cherries on top of a Banana Split.
A brand that I’m really enamored with these days is FRAME. The brand was established in 2012 by Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede, two guys from Sweden. They first met when they started working together for a Canadian advertising company Winkreative in early 2000’s. In 2003 they opened Saturday Group, a marketing firm for fashion and entertainment that is based in London. The two then started Wednesday, a digital marketing company to add to the mix.
FRAME Denim has an exceptional fit and runs true to size. This particular pair are Le Nouveau Split Hem Jean. It has a high-rise fit and and medium wash denim color. That makes this pair of denim a fun pant to wear dressy or casual. The high rise is great for the area around the midriff that so many struggle with better known as “muffin top.” I'm also giving you a few more pair to look at below, each with a little different leg opening.
FRAME Denim inspiration came from the style icons of the 1970’s and also the French concept of “dressed up casual.” Dressed up casual is my kind of fashion, for me it's a bit of elegance and comfort combined. I would also have to say that I think everyone needs a modern/current pair of denim to add to their wardrobe. This brand will give you a little French kick in your step, even for those of you who are a little more classic. It’s all in what you wear with them. They are not your standard denim, making them more interesting to style and worth the investment.
I'd love to hear what you think about the denim or if you have tried them out for yourself! Just leave me a comment below! And thank you for stopping by!
