COS : It's Different
Living in a big city has lots of wonderful benefits - great restaurants, architecture, arts, culture and great shopping. You will never run out of great food and fun things to see and do. That also goes for shopping as well!
I was really excited to see the Shops Buckhead Atlanta when they opened in the early part of March. This wonderful outdoor shopping area is located in the center of Buckhead with high end shopping, restaurants and high rise residential dwellings. The design focuses on the relationship between people, their environment and how they get there.
One of the stores I was most excited about was COS. This store is the higher end of the H&M Group. This Scandinavian fashion house is on the rise. The first COS store was opened in 2007 and now has 120 stores open around the world. There are 9 stores in the US, 3 in California, 2 in New York, 1 in Boston, 1 in Houston, 1 in Connecticut and the one here in the Buckhead area of Atlanta.
I was excited to shop COS a couple weeks ago, and eager to show you what I found and purchased. The design in this line is beautiful, clean and modern, yet to me extremely sophisticated with an architectural feel.
The lines in the clothes are like no other I have owned, which intrigued me and made it very exciting to try everything on in the store. In the next couple weeks I will be sharing the pieces I found. With the mantras “less is more” and “form follows function,” if you have the opportunity to shop the brand, check it out.
You won’t be disappointed.
